About MBR City
Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum City is a large master plan announced in 2012 that groups several separately developed communities, including District One, Sobha Hartland and the Meydan area.
District One, developed by Meydan Sobha, is built around a large swimmable Crystal Lagoon with villas and mansions, while other districts add mid- and high-rise apartment buildings.
The city lies south-east of Downtown Dubai and Business Bay, bordered by Al Khail Road, Ras Al Khor Road and the Meydan area.
