Mobile Car Battery Replacement

Your car stays where it is. A technician brings the matched battery, tools and tester to your villa driveway, tower basement or office car park and completes the replacement on the spot.

Technician with a replacement battery beside a sedan in a residential car park

This page answers

Can a battery be replaced at my home, office or parking space instead of a workshop?

Where this helps

Car is in a residential basement

We work in tower car parks every day. The bay number and level, plus visitor access, are what the technician needs.

At work during office hours

Replacement in a workplace car park while you carry on with your day — keys can be handed over at reception or in person.

Villa driveway or garage

The simplest site: space to open the bonnet and safe access to the battery.

You would rather not drive a weak car

A battery that barely started the car this morning may not start it again after a short drive to a workshop.

How the visit runs

The more of this we know before setting off, the quicker the visit.

  1. 1

    Share vehicle and location

Vehicle details, a pin or building name, the parking level and bay, and how the technician gets access.

  2. 2

    Battery selected before dispatch

The matching battery is identified first so the technician arrives with the right unit — not a guess.

  3. 3

    Technician arrives with kit

Battery, tester, memory saver, terminal cleaning tools and protective covers for wings and seats.

  4. 4

    On-site test and replacement

Old battery tested, new battery fitted and secured, registration performed where required.

  5. 5

    Charging check and handover

Starting and charging voltages checked, old battery taken for recycling, and you are shown the result.

Access and practicalities

Height and access in car parks

Most tower basements are fine for a technician on foot with a trolley. Tell us about any height-restricted or permit-only parking in advance.

Space to work

We need room to open the bonnet fully — or reach the boot or under-seat battery. Tightly parked cars may need moving once started.

Building rules

Some buildings require contractor registration with security. A message to your building management beforehand avoids delays.

Batteries not under the bonnet

Batteries in the boot floor or under a seat take longer to reach. Knowing the vehicle in advance lets us plan for it.

Vehicles we support

Most passenger vehicles can be serviced on site. A small number of vehicles need a lift or extensive dismantling; we tell you before booking if yours is one.

Questions about mobile car battery replacement

Do I need to be with the car?

Someone needs to provide the keys and access. Many customers hand keys to building security or reception and return to a finished job.

Can you work in an underground car park?

Yes. Basement and podium parking is one of the most common places we work. Let us know the level and bay number and any access arrangements.

What if the battery you bring does not fit?

Matching happens before dispatch, using your vehicle details and ideally a photo of the existing label. If something on site differs from the information given, we explain and agree the next step with you before changing anything.

Battery assistance, wherever your car is.

Send your vehicle and location. We confirm the battery, the plan and an honest arrival estimate before anyone sets off.

Daily, including late evenings. Out-of-hours requests are answered as technician availability allows.
