About Saadiyat Island
Saadiyat Island is a large natural island north-east of Abu Dhabi Island, developed from the mid-2000s as a cultural, residential and resort district.
The Cultural District at the western end holds the Louvre Abu Dhabi (opened 2017), the Abrahamic Family House (2023) and the Zayed National Museum (opened December 2025).
