Dubai Festival City is a waterfront mixed-use development on the eastern bank of Dubai Creek, built by Al-Futtaim from 2003, with the first phase, including an IKEA store, opening in 2005.
Residential areas include Marsa Plaza, Al Badia Residences, Al Badia Hillside Village and Al Badia Living, with apartments and some villas near a golf course.
It lies about two kilometres from Dubai International Airport, framed by Sheikh Rashid Road (E11) at Al Garhoud Bridge and Al Rebat Street, with Al Garhoud to the north.
