About DAMAC Hills 2
DAMAC Hills 2 was launched by DAMAC in 2014 as Akoya Oxygen, later shortened to Akoya, and renamed DAMAC Hills 2 in June 2021.
It lies in southern Dubailand, reached mainly via Al Qudra Road and the Jebel Ali–Lehbab Road, well south of the original DAMAC Hills.
Housing is mainly townhouses and villas in named clusters such as Albizia, Juniper, Viola, Zinnia, Claret, Camelia, Cassia and Sycamore, with some apartments.
Community facilities include Malibu Beach, with a wave pool and sandy beach, a Sports Town, an equestrian centre and the DAMAC Hills 2 Community Centre.
What wears batteries here
Residents drive long distances on Al Qudra Road and the Lehbab Road, and cars sit on open driveways in strong sun and desert dust, which shortens battery life.
