Al Safa is a low-rise residential district split into Al Safa 1 and Al Safa 2, made up mainly of independent villas, villa compounds and some low-rise apartments.
It lies between Sheikh Zayed Road and Al Wasl Road, close to Safa Park and between Al Wasl to the north and Al Manara to the south.
Named compounds include Splendour Villas, a gated cluster of four-bedroom villas, and Al Hala Complex.
Al Safa Metro Station on Sheikh Zayed Road, formerly called Noor Bank, was renamed by the RTA in 2020–21.
