About Al Qulayaa
Al Qulayaa (also spelt Al Qulaya'ah or Al Gulayaa) is one of the communities of Sharjah's Al Sharq district, in the north-west of the city.
It is made up mainly of apartment buildings, hotel apartments and ground-floor shops, with no villas or townhouses.
It neighbours Bu Tina, Al Mujarrah and Al Fisht, close to Sharjah Beach and the Corniche.
What wears batteries here
Being a few streets from the beach, cars here live in salty, humid air that corrodes terminals, and many stand for long periods in hotel-apartment lots.

Where cars are parked in Al Qulayaa
The parking type shapes how a battery visit is planned. These are the situations we usually meet here.
- Surface car park
- Easy access; pin the exact spot.
- Basement parking
- Level and bay number needed; technician may arrive on foot with a trolley.
- On-street parking
- Fine when legally parked and safe to work beside.
Practical notes for Al Qulayaa
- Spellings vary widely (Al Qulayaa, Al Qulayaah, Al Gulayaa); a location pin avoids mix-ups.
- Buildings often have separate resident and visitor parking. Tell us which one the car is in.
- For hotel apartments, let reception know a technician is coming to the car park.
- The beach and Corniche are busy at weekends and in the evening, so parking near the seafront is harder to find then.
